SUPPLY CHAIN CHECK
With the assistance of our own in-house freight management software Exportease, we have the capability to monitor and track either your outbound or inbound cargo. We also have the capability to connect our systems with our clients’ own software to ensure a smooth transfer of all required data, for example with stock checking while goods are warehoused.
PACKING AND PALLETISING
For your export cargo, we can arrange export packing, palletisation and shrink-wrapping. We ensure that all necessary country packing standards are complied with before export and we take special care as to the complexity of packing required to make sure your cargo arrives in perfect condition. This will include understanding where your cargo will be stored at its final destination and indeed for how long.
STORAGE PLANS
Our service also covers out-of-gauge cargo as part of a turnkey project and includes stowage and securing of cargo onto or in containers. Prior to shipment, we will undertake a review with you of your cargo and how it is to be handled and secured, considering lifting points, size, weight and centre of gravity. We will then arrange to undertake to load and securing of the cargo on your behalf if you are unable to do so. This attention to detail is required to make sure that the vessel and aircraft providers are able to ship your cargo safely and in good condition, and so it arrives at its destination just how it left.
